How Can numbness In The Thighs Be Treated?

I was sitting with my leg crossed over my other leg/upper thigh for about 30 mins in the same position. I was getting up from the chair and my right hip/leg buckled forward like it had no stability or strength. I have no strength in my hip all of a sudden to put weight on it . is my hip out of alignment/

if this happends suddenly after legs have been crossed then this is just temporary and it should pass in few hours. It happens because muscles and nerves are pressed in this position and you need to massage your muscles and apply warm compresses. if this lasts, then you need to do spine MRI to rule out spinal cord compression which may be cause.other peripheral neuropathies are possible cause as well but this is rarity.
